Technical specifications & components used:
- Lots of steel, primarily galvanized conduit and angle iron.
- Custom CNC plasma cut metal notes for simulating the tree’s leaves
- Doppler sensor to sense position of individual playing the tree, X-band sensor for player speed
- Custom 3D printed owl
- Metal bird house constructed to hide main electronics
- Custom laser cut adapter plates to hide sensors from view
- Aruino uno microcontroller, midi controller, and PA speaker amplification for sound.
- 4 ultra high output red LED’s harvested from home theater projectors to illuminate the tree, turned on via relay control
