Constructed for Frito Lay (Doritos) “Bold” stage. Venue constructed for Lady Gaga performance and other artists such as Ludacris (fill in the rest). Over 800 bags, towering 6 stories tall. “Tweet to vend” uses Twitter to select a flavor, then drop the bag from the sky! Collaborated to make machine have IPAD controlled vending as well.Technical specifications & components used:
- Raspberry Pi microcomputer (Python)
- Arduino Mega micro controllers
- Relay control board array
- Custom solenoid release mechanism for dispensing chips.
- 5 miles of 12 awg marine grade wire
- 12v deep cycle marine batteries in series to handle DC current needs.
