About Project
Specialty lighting display for large dance party venue.Technical specifications & components used:
- 2 Arduino Mega microcontrollers to cycle color/light effects
- PC power supply hacked to supply 300w regulated DC current for the sign
- Custom circuit boards constructed to distribute power to LEDs using an array of MOSFETs.
- Custom made circuit boards using shift registers to send logic down the line of LED’s.
- Total: 1474 5mm LEDs for sign.
